Build a Life You Don’t Need to Escape From

You’re ready for therapy that brings results.

You've achieved things. People respect you. And yet there's a part of your life you keep hidden.

You have a pattern with substances, sex, or porn that you can't seem to control no matter how hard you try. You're not broken. You're stuck. And stuck is something we can work with.

As an addiction therapist, I'm here to help you go deeper than understanding your addiction patterns. Our work will give you tools to finally break free from them.

Addiction therapy that meets you where you are and gets you to where you want to be.

My Approach As An Addiction Therapist

Many approaches to addiction tell you what sobriety looks like. I don't believe in a one-size-fits-all treatment. I know that addiction is complex, and so are you. Here's what working together looks like:

Get underneath the behavior.

We don't just address what you're doing, we dig into why. Our work will address trauma, unmet needs, and your cycles of shame. Most addictive behavior has roots that standard talk therapy doesn’t reach.

Gain practical tools, not just insight.

Awareness isn't enough. We will build practical, personalized strategies you can implement right away. Skills to navigate cravings, triggers, relationships, and the moments when everything feels like it's unraveling.

Context and support matters.

Recovery isn't just about stopping your behavior. It's about building a life you don't need to escape from. We will address your mental, emotional, and relational health.

What makes my approach to addiction different?

While many programs define what sobriety is for you, I approach this work as a team. I believe it is important for you to define what your values and goals are and what sobriety means for you.

From there, I’ll guide you on the path to recovery and change.

My Guiding Principles

  • I don't impose a narrow definition of recovery. Whether your goal is abstinence, reduction, or something else, we will work toward what aligns with the values and goals you define.

I'll guide you on what it will take to reach your goals and to create a life and relationships that align with your values.

  • I respect you enough to be honest with you. I also believe you are resilient enough to deal with the truth. I won't let you coast on insight without change.

At the same time I offer understanding, compassion, and a non-judgemental space. I will meet you where you’re at while keeping you accountable to reach the goals you’ve set.

  • You are worthy of honor and respect. Your behavior may have resulted in consequences, but that doesn’t remove your worthiness of respect.

You are not less of a person because of your struggle with addiction. I am committed to treating you and your story with respect.

  • Resilience isn't something you're born with. It's something you build, one hard moment at a time.

Resilience doesn’t mean that you won’t face difficult experiences, but that you have the tools and skills to navigate those experiences with strength and clarity when you encounter them.

Who I Work With

Drug & Alcohol Addiction

Feeling powerless to substances doesn’t mean you’re broken. It's a pattern. And patterns can be changed.

Porn Addiction

If you've tried to stop and couldn't, that's not weakness. That's what addiction does. Our work will help you create lasting change.

Sex Addiction

Compulsive sexual behavior thrives in secrecy. We bring it into the open, without judgment, and do the important work of breaking the cycle.

Betrayal Trauma

Betrayal is devastating. We work through the pain and help you figure out what comes next.
